  • Home Body is six week trauma-sensitive embodied movement & somatics program for returning home to your body. It includes:

  • I recommend setting aside around 90 minutes per week to make your way through the content.

    Like everything, the more you put in, the more you get out.

    All the content is broken down into 5 - 30 minute videos to make it super digestible & accessible (no hour long recordings!!)

    However, I understand that some weeks will just be busy and you may not be able to make it through the content, which is why I have a “lite” option for those weeks when you just can’t.

    In these weeks, you can engage with the program in just 30 minutes, and come back to the rest later.

    You get 12 weeks access so there is some breathing space around the 6-weeks in case life gets in the way!

  • Then, you’ll be doing it exactly right.

    Home Body isn’t something that requires your perfection. It meets you exactly where you are.

    Many people repeat the same practice for weeks and skip others entirely (for example, the somatic practices for anxiety, hyper-vigilance & a racing mind won’t be as relevant for someone in nervous system shutdown).

    Similarly, there is no way to do the embodied movement practice wrong. All it requires is that you move in a way that listens to your body, which will be in constant flux.

    So, if you have bodily pain, injury, sensitivity or limitation, then the embodied movement practice will still be accessible to you.

  • I’ve been creating and running programs for over a decade, and here’s what I’ve consistently seen:
    when people have unlimited time, the work often gets postponed ~ not because they don’t care, but because life gets busy.

    The 12-week container is intentional.
    It supports commitment, momentum, and integration, so this doesn’t become another course you mean to come back to “one day.”

    Home Body is designed to be experienced over six weeks.
    You then have an additional six weeks of breathing room ~ time to revisit practices, repeat what resonates, and let things settle into your body rather than rushing through.

    There is no expectation to keep up or do everything perfectly.
    Most people return to the same practices again & again, rather than moving through everything once.

    Your 12 weeks of access begins from the moment you first log in, not from the purchase date.

    After the 12 weeks, if you feel you’d like continued access, you’ll have the option to upgrade for lifetime access to the program.

  • Usually, people engage with the embodied movement practice once per week. There’s a long version (30 minutes) and a short version (10 minutes) for when you’re short on time.

    People often listen to the nervous system chat whilst commuting or cleaning the house or luxuriating on the couch.

    With the somatic practices, people usually return to these when they need it most, until the practices become embodied and you no longer need the recording guidance.

  • Absolutely!

    In addition to an accessible sliding scale, you have the option to pay in 2, 3 or 6 payments.

    Unlike most courses, there is no additional fee for choosing a payment plan, as I don’t believe you should be penalised for not being able to pay up front.

  • This is not a trauma/somatic release program.

    Rather, it is based on nervous system education & building interoception (your ability to listen to your body).

    When you understand how your nervous system works, you can more easily read the cues & signals of your body. This will reconnect you with your body & put you more in touch with what you truly need.

    Similarly, interoception gets dampened after long-term stress, burnout & trauma. Interoception can be strengthened & retrained.

    In Home Body, we use TCTSY (an evidence-based movement practice) and specifically tailored somatic practices to build interoception & increase your capacity to listen to your body.

    The evidence-based movement practice is suitable for all levels as it focuses on the inner experience of the movement, rather than outer alignment.

  • The core of this program is based on Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), which is a specific methodology that has adapted traditional hatha yoga to become an effective therapeutic intervention for trauma.

    TCTSY has been proven as an effective standalone treatment for trauma. In a recent meta-analysis of over 900 studies, TCTSY came out in the top 2 most effective modalities for trauma, alongside traditional talk therapy (Campbell et al., 2024).

    Even if you have not experienced trauma, Home Body will help you connect with your body because TCTSY works by increasing interoception (the ability to feel your bodily sensations from the inside).

    Increasing interoception is helpful for disconnection from your body no matter whether it was caused by stress, trauma, burnout or something else.

Hi, I’m Brianna

If you've never worked with me before - my name is Brianna! 

I'm a Somatic Practitioner & Trauma Informed Practice Specialist with a decade of experience in complex trauma & mental health.

Aside from my work supporting individuals & organisations working through trauma, burnout & mental ill-health, I have my own lived experience of feeling completely alienated from my body.

A few years ago, my body said a big loud no but I missed all the whispers until they became screams.

This looked like excruciating periods, high anxiety, painful muscle tension, chronic gut issues & always getting sick. I felt disconnected from myself but also the world around me. I had no motivation to do anything I loved ~ I just didn’t care anymore.

I really don't want you to end up like I did so I created a program that combines the most supportive parts of my recovery with the stuff the science says actually works.

I wanted Home Body to feel like something you actually wanted to do. So I created it with a cosy, lived-in feel (like having a coffee with your best friend) so you don’t feel more overwhelmed & you don’t feel like you’re “getting it wrong.”
